A patient is suing Smith & White Memorial Hospital in Texas claiming that employees (doctors) there performed surgery without a reasonable indication to do so. According to the complaint, patientTammy Williamson, a 43 year old mother and grandmother who was working for the local Sheriff’s Department, had numerous abdominal adhesions (scar tissue) related to prior surgical procedures.
